Giftgowns' CEO & Founder Named One of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women
We are pleased to announce that Giftgowns’ CEO and Founder, Jacqueline Moss has been named one of Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner in the Entrepreneur Category. WXN Women’s Executive Network is a member-based organization which exists for the advancement, development and recognition of professional women in Canada.
Jackie has been the recipient of a WXN award twice before in the Corporate Executive Category in 2007 and 2008. This year marks her first award in the Entrepreneur Category. Jackie is just the second person to have received awards in both of these two categories!
Jackie has received the award for her work with her company, Giftgowns. Jackie founded the company in 2016, after being inspired by her own hospital experience. A few years after her recovery, she decided to establish Giftgowns. Formerly, Jackie was an executive vice-president at a top Canadian bank.
“I am incredibly honoured and excited to be the recipient of the WXN Award in the Entrepreneur Category,” said Jackie, “It’s inspiring to be among such a talented group of women from so many diverse fields. Thank you WXN for continuing in the promotion of these wonderful and talented women.”
In the just two years since Giftgowns has been in business, we have already expanded from adult gowns into kids, maternity gowns, and custom gowns. We ship gowns worldwide through our e-commerce site and they are also available in hospital gift shops across North America.
“We are celebrating 100 of Canada’s highest achieving women in diverse fields,” said Sherri Stevens, CEO of WXN, “All 100 are important role models for the generations who will follow – which is why it’s very important to recognize and celebrate their great achievements.”
Congratulations Jackie! 🎉
